Being yourself is healthy!

Writer's picture: Deniel Deniel

It takes time to accept who you are and there are no shortcuts, but above all there is no way that you can trick yourself.

My dear, all your sins will find you out!

Let me be honest with you guys, do you really think other people’s thoughts don’t affect on our daily routine? Do you really think it’s easy to expose ourself to the jungle out there? Do you really think it’s easy to understand what our souls are telling us?

Bullshit.

It is difficult, exhausting, frustrating and it takes time.

But you can do it!

When I used to live in Italy I was not happy, even though I thought I had a good life.

I needed a change, I felt it! And I think, for the first time in my life, I heard my voice.

I moved to London. Is there a specific reason for that? No. I knew, from the bottom of my heart,

that it could have changed my life forever and since I made that decision I felt happy.

At the beginning I thought was the place where I used to live that pushed me down and that maybe I could have changed place every year to get the same feelings!

That was just an excuse. It was just a way out.

When I decided to hear the voice inside me I made it happen.

I respected myself and when you respect yourself you feel good. When you respect yourself you accept the way you are and you feed your soul with positivity.

“My body is my home, my mind is my temple my heart is my energy”. - this is the conclusion I came across and the final reason why I think “being yourself is healthy!”

Everything changed for me. My approach to life has changed too.

Think about it, If you are able to respect yourself you are able to respect other people too. When other people’s thoughts affect you think about your journey and find a way to face it.

When you stop blaming yourself for being so different you stop judging other people.

When you start loving the way you’re different you start thinking that difference is what makes you feel special.

When you start loving yourself you start thinking you are ready to love somebody else.

When you start believing yourself, yourself starts believing you.
